Boxing Leader Course

The Boxing Leader Course, from the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and endorsed by England Boxing* is coming to your area soon.

Who is it for?
Anyone who would like to be able to deliver a non-contact boxing skills and fitness programme in schools, youth groups, community settings etc.

The majority of those who have already taken the course are primary and secondary school teachers, PCSOs/Police Officers, youth workers, fitness coaches, personal trainers, boxers, boxing coaches and exercise professionals (self-employed coaches delivering this programme typically earn £25 - £30 per hour).

Do I need to have boxed before?
No. The course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced boxers and coaches. Most courses have as many women taking part as men.

What is it?
It is a one-day course covering all the basic moves of Olympic-style boxing including footwork, punches and defences, boxing related games and activities, and resources to help you find out more about this Olympic sport.

How much does it cost?
£105 for the one-day course, registration with the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and resources. If you are self-employed you will make this amount in less than five hours delivering the boxing programme.
