Coronavirus, an update from Active Cornwall

Parkrun number three is Coming to Cornwall!

This FREE event will be taking place at Penrose National Trust Estate EVERY SATURDAY @ 9am starting this week (28th March 2015) and takes in some of the most beautiful Cornish countryside.

Make sure you bring your barcode which you can print out when you register (

The course is a one lap clockwise undulating route which takes in woodland and coastal paths with the stunning views of the Loe Pool as well as the south coast of Cornwall and the Lizard Peninsula.

The start of the route is approximately 100 metres before The Stables Café with the finish area on the track before reaching Shadywalk Wood.

The route follows the main path towards Loe Beach with Loe Pool to your left. Once Bar Lodge is reached go through gate (which should be open) and keep straight on the coast path with the sea to your left.

When the path forks take the right-hand path up the hill onto the new Penrose access paths. When the t-junction is reached turn right onto a track (muddy if wet).

Follow this track until you go straight across a farm track (gates should be open either side of it).  Finish is just before the Shadywalk Wood on the track.
(To return to Stables café walk through woods and turn left onto the main path at the bottom.)
