2014 Sainsbury's Cornwall School Games Gets a Heart!

With just over 7 weeks to go till the opening ceremony of the 2014 Sainsbury's Cornwall School Games, we are pleased to announce that Heart FM will once again be supporting the event.

The games which are being held in the Truro area on Friday 27th June 2014 will see over 3000 students from Primary & Secondary Schools across Cornwall take part in various sports including Badminton, Cycling, Surfing, Netball, Dance, Table Tennis, Aquathon and Golf plus much more

Heart launched in Cornwall in 2012 and since then has gone from strength to strength. From Matt & Caroline at breakfast, Victoria Leigh at drive time and celebrity presenters such as Toby Anstis, Mark Wright, Stephen Mulhern and Emma Willis we play more music variety with the biggest competitions. Right now you can win £100,000 just by identifying the three secret celebrities. Listen every weekday from 9am.

The games kicks off at 10.30am with an exciting opening ceremony at Richard Lander School presented by Heart FM's very own Victoria Leigh.  Victoria presents Heart Drivetime every afternoon from 4pm on Heart Cornwall. She lives in St Agnes with her partner and three young children. Her show features interviews about local events as well as fun and entertainment proudly rooted in the county. There is travel news to get you home and loads of great music variety.
