Cornish Companies Throw Themselves into Dodgeball

Corporate Dodgeball

A new weekly corporate dodgeball league came to a thrilling end last week, which saw employees from companies across Cornwall getting hot under the collar and throwing themselves literally out of their comfort zone.

Cornwall Sports Partnership, in conjunction with the Cornwall Cricket Board, launched the first ever corporate dodgeball league for Cornish companies at the Cornwall Cricket Centre. The sessions have taken place over the last 6 weeks and have had six companies participate in the high paced game.  It was the perfect way to combine some fun exercise with a spot of team building and networking.

So far, companies getting stuck in include Cornwall Council, Ward Williams Associates, Stephens Scown Solicitors, Balfour Beatty and winners Kelsall Steele.

Lewis Sanders, from the Cornwall Sports Partnership, enthuses: "The dodgeball league was a huge success with so much enjoyment and fun.  We are now looking to introduce further sports in the near future and it would be brilliant to have more teams to take part to increase the challenge and competition.

"So, if anyone thinks that they or their organisation, department or team can take on the best that the corporate world can offer in Cornwall, it would be great to hear from them!"
