Cornish Pirates ask "Will you be my girl?"

The Cornish Pirates are seeking three Pirates Girls to join the team’s promotional activities. The girls will be building awareness of Pirates TV, the on-line channel that screens the Cornish Pirates' matches and they’ll join the players' off pitch appearances too. The Pirates have created a viral video to attract applications for this fun position, to see the video log on to (or click here for on-line coverage).

Rod Coward, chief executive of the Pirates said “This is all about fun with a practical purpose too. We’re hoping for a hundred or more applicants for the Pirates TV Girls challenge. The winners will join us at our home matches and help us promote Pirates TV. Viewers can watch the match no matter where we play, provided the opposition are happy for us to film our away games. The Pirates TV Girls will also join the players on some of their personal appearances – such as the recent Children In Need fashion show, and a book signing at Waterstones in Truro.”

Pirates TV is a joint venture between the Cornish Pirates and
