CSP Team

Walks have been made on local coastal paths to mark World Mental Health Day.

Organised by Pentreath Mental Health Charity in Cornwall, people walked coastal paths throughout the county, including one from Porthtowan to Perranporth which was supported by members of the CSP team.

Rob Harrison, Workforce Lead Officer at Cornwall Sports Partnership said: "Such a great day to be involved in walking the coast of Cornwall on National Mental Health Day, massive thank you to Pentreath for organising and raising the awareness that Physical Activity has to play on Mental health and Mental Health Awareness. "

The charity, who have supported people living with mental health and emotional difficulties since 1991, offer them help to believe in their own potential and achieve their vocational goals, whatever challenges they may face.

Following the walks everyone gathered in Perranporth where they had tea and cakes to celebrate their achievement.
