The Government today announced a further £10m investment into Sport England and then in Active Partnerships to support schools to open up their school facilities during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Tim Marrion, Children Young People and Families lead at Active Cornwall commented: "This additional investment is great news to build upon the work we have been doing previously, before the first lockdown in March, working with schools to address local barriers to opening up their facilities. This investment will enable more children in Cornwall to access sport and physical activity local to them at a time when it is really required as we respond to the pandemic."
