Local Fitness Expert Pledges £s for lbs in Flab-U-Less Bootcamp Cornwall Charity Weight Loss Camp

St Austell weight loss specialist, Petra Rowden-Harvey, this week pledged to donate £1 to charity for every lb lost by fitness enthusiasts in January.

In a unique move to not only help out Cornwall Hospice Care charity and help beat the post Christmas bulge. Petra Rowden-Harvey said: “I’m really excited about the challenge. Not only will we be helping our members drop some body-fat but we’ll be doing our bit for charity too."

Cornwall Hospice Care does great work locally and I’m delighted to be able to help them out”.

Rose Wiltshire, Community Fundraiser for Cornwall Hospice Care, added:  “We are very keen to support such an unusual and seasonal local initiative which will benefit those attending the Bootcamp sessions as well as Cornwall Hospice Care.  The money raised will contribute vital funds to the £5.6m needed each year to run adult hospice care at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice here in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle.”

Everyone who takes part in Bootcamp Cornwall with Flab-U-Less’s Total Body Transformation Competition starting on 4th of January, will be pushed to drop as much body fat as possible over the 8 week challenge with a combination of metabolic resistance training in her classes and with her nutrition program.

Petra Rowden-Harvey added: "The members are really excited as the charity challenge will provide some extra motivation to achieve their weight loss goals and push them on to hit those new year’s resolutions quicker than usual”
