London 2012 seeks male volunteer performers for the biggest show on earth

Think you could perform in front of an audience of one billion people around the world? The search is on for male volunteer performers within the Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Having completed the first phase of casting the emphasis has now switched to finding more men - particularly if you have rhythm! Artistic Directors Danny Boyle and Kim Gavin are keen to attract more male applicants as so far twice as many females have applied. To be eligible you must be aged 18 years or older on 1 March 2012 and able to meet the commitments for rehearsals.

So if you have rhythm, can drum, or do any sport or hobby that involves keeping to time - sign up now for this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Previous performance experience is not required, just enthusiasm to perform in front of a stadium audience and to millions of people around the world!
