The 2016 Boccia Awards Nominations Now Open!

Boccia England

We are proud to launch the 2016 Boccia England Awards - it's now time to nominate your boccia sporting hero.

The Boccia England Awards are a celebration of sporting achievements. The awards provide a way of recognising and, above all, celebrating the successes of our outstanding athletes, inspirational volunteers, great coaches and high quality clubs across England.

Paul Chambers, Boccia England CEO has this to say about the awards: "The Boccia Awards are a fantastic opportunity for Boccia England to recognise and acknowledge the wonderful talent and level of commitment we have within our sport in England and awards provide us with a great opportunity to do so."

We are also delighted to announce Irwin Mitchell Solicitors as the headline sponsor to the 2016 Boccia Awards.

Stuart Henderson, Managing Partner of the personal injury team at Irwin Mitchell, said: "We are delighted to be helping Boccia England with its annual awards to help recognise the players, coaches, clubs and volunteers that enable people to play the sport across England.

"The sport is inclusive of all abilities and shows what can be achieved by those determined not to let their disability stop them from playing sports, as well as the showcasing the inspirational activities of volunteers who are determined to give back to their local community through boccia.

"At Irwin Mitchell we have helped set up boccia clubs in both Leeds and Sheffield and we hope to spread the message wider, both within our company, and to the public by helping to support this year's Boccia England awards."
