Time2Move Holiday Programme Partners up with Parent Carers Cornwall

Time2Move Holiday Programme goes live!

The Time2Move Holiday programme has partnered up with Parent Carers Cornwall to ensure all children with Special Education Needs or registered Disabled can attend their provision over the Christmas holidays and beyond.

The Time2Move Holiday Programme is part of the Government funded Holiday Activities and Food Programme which delivers holiday activity including a free meal over the Easter, Summer and Christmas Holidays and was recently extended for another 3 years.

The programme is managed by Active Cornwall and Tim Marrion the Children, Young People and Families lead commented "This new partnership with Parent Carers Cornwall is amazing for us as it goes along way in our ambition to ensure the Time2Move Holiday Programme is fully inclusive and accessible to all children aged 5 to 16."

Every parent that registers their child as having SEND needs will receive a phone call from Parent Carers Cornwall to fully understand these needs and ensure the provider is aware and these needs are met with the required staffing necessities, food provision and physical activity delivery.

Kay Henry the Strategic Lead at Parent Carers Cornwall said "Parent Carers Cornwall are delighted to be a new partner with the Time2Move Holiday Programme using our unique shared experiences to shape the development and delivery of this important holiday programme."
