Truro & Penwith College forges new partnership with Velotive

Truro and Penwith College 'Health, Wellbeing and Sport' programme has teamed up with cycling, mountain bike and triathlon specialist 'Velotive' in a new partnership. The joint working will see Newquay based multi-discipline store provide uniform for the 20 strong Health, Wellbeing and Sport 'Activator' team.

The 'Activators' deliver a menu of sports and physical activity options for students and staff to help promote health and well-being throughout the College. The programme has been delivering opportunities at the College for over a year and helps provide an environment where students can grow and develop. The menu of activities includes fitness classes, trampolining, football kick-abouts and pre-college gym sessions.

Jenny Craven, Manager of Velotive, said "I am delighted to be working in partnership with the Health, Wellbeing and Sport team. At Velotive we pride ourselves on providing excellent service, which is why we are proud to associate ourselves with a programme that holds the same values."

Velotive have provided the Activator team with t-shirts, fleeces and rain jackets, which will be worn during the delivery of activities. The programme now comprises of over 40 different session, engaging with over 300 participants, every week.
