The South West Regional Talent Centre is in the running...
The South West Talent Centre provides specialist strength and conditioning support to over 200 athletes across the region who are not yet at the level where they receive funding or support services from relevant sport governing bodies. Aged between 13 and 30, they represent 27 different sports including athletics, wrestling, fencing, surfing, kayaking, and gymnastics. Sport England Lottery funding worth over £330,000 helped to develop a network of coaches and specialists, enabling the centre to offer 160 scholarships.
