Primary Schools: Demonstrating Impact and Creating a School Action Plan
Primary Sport Premium
This review and action planning toolkit can help you and your school review your PE, School Sport and Physical Activity in line with this Time 2 Move Framework and help you to develop an action plan to take forward for the next academic year. It is designed to complement your reporting requirements for the Primary PE and Sport Premium, as well as the Active Lives Survey from Sport England.
If you have all the data to hand, it should take you approximately 2 hours to complete. After which, you will have a document that can be used for reporting purposes and to help your school move forward.
Once completed, please email a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org This information is important for Active Cornwall to feedback to the Government and Sport England. It helps highlight the challenges and needs of the Cornish education community so we can better support all schools in their aim to offer:
- an ambitious, broad and balanced Physical Education curriculum that shows clear progression and can be accessed by all children, regardless of special educational need or disability, background or location.
- all children and young people the opportunity to engage in a broad range of school sport and take part in a range of different competitions and extra-curricular clubs.
- a range of opportunities for children and young people to keep physically active during the school day, as well as learning how to eat healthily and maintain an active lifestyle, which includes building resilience and understanding how to keep themselves mentally healthy.
This review and planning toolkit will also support you to ensure all children and young people are achieving the minimum Government and CMO standards in activity levels, physical literacy and swimming.
