Thinking of starting a green project at your School?

Cornwall Council have secured funding from Natural England (Devon, Cornwall and Isle Of Scilly seed corn fund) and would like to invite you to apply for up to £2000 to spend on Green Projects at your school.

This follows a successful pilot scheme with three Cornish Schools which showed what could be achieved on a limited budget to increase and improve the green spaces in school grounds.

You can watch and share this video Green Schools Pilot Project

With a small amount of funding, imagination, lots of enthusiasm and the support of volunteers you can transform small unloved areas of a playground into somewhere that supports green infrastructure and attracts wildlife.  Well planned outside areas can offer great opportunities for learning and can become a resource that supports the mental health and wellbeing of students.
